The solar system consists of the Sun and all other objects in space travelling around it, such as planets. The Sun is the centre of the solar system There are eight planets in the solar system The planets in order from the Sun are: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune Planets can be researched using secondary sources of information
