Show transcript
Indirect object pronouns (e.g. 'him', 'them') indicate the person or thing that is indirectly affected by the verb. To refer to one person or thing indirectly affected by an action, use 'le'. If more than one person or thing is indirectly affected, use 'les'. When reading words aloud in Spanish, stress the penultimate syllable for any word ending in a vowel, -n or -s. If the word has a written accent, stress the syllable with the accent.
