I can use the present and preterite tense of -er/-ir verbs to talk about travelling.

The sound symbol correspondence [que] is pronounced as in the word '¿por qué? and [cue] as in 'cuerpo'.
‘Saber’ and ‘conocer’ are both used to mean ‘know’. ‘Saber’ means knowing facts or how to do something.
‘Conocer’ means being familiar with or getting to know a person, place or thing.
The 3rd person singular of -ER/-IR in the present tense ends in -e.
The 3rd person singular of -ER/-IR in the preterite ends in -ió.
