In Spanish, the simple present tense is used for habitual actions. For -ar verbs, the 'she, he, it' form ends in -a (e.g. 'estudia') and the 'they' form ends in -an (e.g. 'estudian'). For -er/-ir verbs, the 'she, he, it' form ends in -e (e.g. 'lee') and the 'they' form ends in -en (e.g. 'leen').
