I can appreciate the Spanish tradition of the Christmas lottery.

[ca], [co], [cu] are hard sounds whilst [ce], [ci], [z] and [ch] are soft sounds.
[a], [e], [o] are strong vowels whilst [i] and [u] are weak vowels.
'La lotería de Navidad' is an annual event taking place on 22nd December. It is a tradition for families to buy tickets.
The big prize is called 'El Gordo' and is worth a lot of money.
The verb 'tener' means 'to have, having'. To say 'I have' we use 'tengo'. To say 'she, he, it has', we use 'tiene'.
