Possessive adjectives are a type of determiner. Use 'mi' to say 'my' before a singular Spanish noun. Use 'tu' to say 'your' before a singular Spanish noun. Spanish possessives 'mi' and 'tu' do not change for the gender of the noun. When 'tú' has an accent, it is a subject pronoun and goes before the verb.
