Show transcript
Mexico is famous for many things including its artists, its archaeology, its food, its customs and its unique history.
Possessive adjectives go before nouns to show belonging and ownership.
'Su' is 'his', 'hers' or 'its' before a singular noun, e.g. 'su país' - 'his, her, its country'.
'Sus' is 'his', 'hers', or 'its' before a plural noun, e.g. 'sus padres' - 'his, her, its parents'.
As 'su' and 'sus' have different meanings, you will often need context to translate them accurately.
