I can use singular and plural demonstrative adjectives to ask and answer questions while shopping at the market.

In sounds like [cua], [cue] and [cui] the 'u' is not silent, but it combines with the 'c' to make a 'kw' sound.
To say ‘that’ for a singular masculine noun, use ‘ese’, e.g. 'ese libro'.
To say ‘those’ for a plural masculine noun, use ‘esos’, e.g. 'esos libros'.
To say ‘that’ for a singular feminine noun, use ‘esa’, e.g. 'esa bebida'.
To say ‘those’ for a plural feminine noun, use ‘esas’, e.g. 'esas bebidas'.
