The sounds [que] and [qui] are pronounced like a hard ‘k’ followed by ‘e’ or ‘i’. The 'u' is silent.
The sounds [gue] and [gui] are pronounced like a hard ‘g’ followed by ‘e’ or ‘i’. The ‘u’ is silent.
The verb 'ser' means 'to be, being' for traits. Its forms are: 'I am' - 'soy', 'we are' - 'somos' and 'they are' - son'.
The way to say 'you are' depends on how many people you are talking to.
To say ‘you are’ to one person, use ‘eres’. To say ‘you are’ to two or more people, use ‘sois’.
