I can transcribe and conjugate a range of regular and irregular -er /-ir verbs in the context of football.

Some verb forms contain orthographic changes. These are spelling changes made to preserve or aid pronunciation.
Some -er / -ir verbs with ‘g’ in the stem change to 'j' in the 1st person singular to preserve the soft [g] sound.
Verbs ending in -uir gain a 'y' in persons 1,2,3 and 6 to aid pronunciation.
