I can use the affirmative imperative to instruct people how to look after and enjoy the environment.

Use the affirmative imperative to tell somebody to do something or to give instructions. When talking to somebody familiar to you ('tú') with the affirmative imperative of an -ar verb, use the ending -a. When talking to somebody familiar to you with the affirmative imperative of an -er or -ir verb, use the ending -e. The verbs 'hacer', 'decir', 'poner' and 'salir' are irregular in the imperative, becoming 'haz', 'di', 'pon' and 'sal'.
