ábamos, -abais and -aban are the 1st, 2nd and 3rd person plural endings of -ar verbs in the imperfect tense.
‘ir’ is an irregular verb in the imperfect tense.
-íbamos, -ibais and -iban are the 1st, 2nd and 3rd person plural forms of ‘ir’ in the imperfect tense.
Spanish adverbs ending in -mente (e.g. rápidamente) correspond to English adverbs ending in -ly (e.g. 'quickly').
To form adverbs ending in -mente, add this ending to the feminine form of the adjective (e.g. 'rápida' - 'rápidamente').
