I can use the BORDER acronym to produce a piece of extended writing in Spanish about why you should learn a language.

The verb 'hace' + noun describes a range of weather conditions, e.g. 'hace sol'.
The verb 'hay' means 'there is' or 'there are'.
To say you have been doing something for a period of time, you can use 'present tense verb + desde hace + time period'.
To say you have been doing something for a period of time, you can use 'llevo + time period + present participle'.
The BORDER acronym is a useful tool to respond fully and accurately to bullet point writing prompts.
