Show transcript
You can use adverbs of time and verb tenses to interpret time frames in reading comprehension tasks.
In Spanish, the strong vowels are [a], [e] and [o]. These are always fully pronounced and don't glide into other sounds.
The stress in Spanish words ending in a vowel, 'n' or 's' falls on the penultimate syllable.
The stress in Spanish words ending in a consonant, excluding 'n' and 's', falls on the final syllable.
Words that break the rules of stress in Spanish pronunciation indicate where the stress should fall with an accent.
