Possessive adjectives show who something belongs to.
'Mío', 'tuyo', 'suyo', 'nuestro' and 'vuestro' are possessive adjectives in Spanish and can be used after 'ser'.
Possessive pronouns replace a possessive adjective and a noun.
'El mío', 'el tuyo', 'el suyo', 'el nuestro' and 'el vuestro' are possessive pronouns in Spanish.
Possessive adjectives and pronouns change to reflect the grammatical gender and number of the thing possessed.
