Show transcript
Understanding and composing sentences using familiar words helps to deepen vocabulary knowledge. We use the present tense of ‘ir’ to say where we routinely go, e.g. 'Voy a la plaza'. We use the present tense of 'ir' followed by 'a' and a 2nd verb infinitive to express future plans. It is important to pay attention to the difference between present and future meanings.
