'Ir' is a high frequency irregular verb; it is important to learn and remember its singular forms: voy, vas, va.
'Vamos' is the 1st person plural form of 'ir' and means 'we go'.
To say 'to the' in Spanish, we use 'a la' before feminine nouns, and the contraction 'al' for masculine nouns.
