I can use the 'I' and 'she, he' forms of the verb 'ir' to answer questions about where and when I and another person goes.

The sounds [b] and [v] are pronounced the same in Spanish, as in 'celebrar' and 'ver'.
The verb 'ir' is irregular and it means 'to go, going'.
The 1st person singular 'I go' is 'voy'. The 3rd person singular 'she/he goes' is 'va'.
The preposition 'a' means 'to'. 'To the' before masculine nouns is al (a + el); we use a la for feminine nouns.
