Sound-symbol correspondences [ga], [go], [gu] can be practised by pronouncing words like 'ganar', 'gol' and 'preguntar'. 'Es' means 'it is' to describe someone or something. 'Son' means 'they are' to describe two or more people or things. Sentences with ‘hay’ usually begin with ‘en’. ‘Hay un(a)’ means ‘there is a/an’. ‘Hay unos/unas’ means ‘there are some.’ 'Tiene' means 'she, he, it has'.
