It is important to have a good knowledge of sound-spelling correspondences to accurately read aloud Spanish texts.
It is a good idea to mentally rehearse a text before reading it aloud.
The inflectional future expresses what 'will' happen and 'voy a + infinitive' expresses what is 'going to' happen.
Plural conjugations of the inflectional future are formed by adding the endings -emos, -éis or -án to the infinitive.
'Saber', 'querer', 'venir', 'decir', 'salir' have irregular future stems: 'sabr-', 'querr-', 'vendr-', 'dir-', 'saldr-'.
