Show transcript
When the 'doer' (subject) and 'receiver' (object) of an action are the same person we use a reflexive pronoun.
To mean 'herself' or 'himself' in Spanish, use 'se' before a verb.
Indirect object pronouns (e.g. 'him', 'them') indicate the person or thing that is indirectly affected by the verb.
If the person affected by the action is 'me', use 'me'; if the person affected by the action is 'you', use 'te'.
To refer to one person or thing indirectly affected by an action use 'le', for more than one person or thing use 'les'.
