Show transcript
Sound-spelling correspondences [r] and [rr] look similar and have the same letter; however, they make a different sound. Verbs communicate what I and others do or how they are. Hacer is an irregular -er verb in the 'I' form. I do is hago. Regular verbs follow regular rules; we change the -ar and -er infinitives to match the person doing the verb. To say 'she, he, it' with regular -er and -ar verbs, remove the -er / -ar. For -ar verbs, add -a, and for -er, add -e.
