Show transcript
Adjectives can be used to describe the appearance of something. An appearance is what someone or something looks like, in this case what the houses looks like. When you use two adjectives to describe a noun, you need to separate them with a comma. Two ideas can be joined together using 'and' to form one sentence. In a compound sentence, each idea must make complete sense.
