Show transcript
[au/eau] sounds like 'gauche'. Avoir means 'to have, having', j'ai means 'I have', il a means 'he has' and elle a means 'she has'. The pronoun je becomes j' before a vowel. To say what someone has we can use part of the verb 'avoir' followed by un/une and a noun.
