I can communicate in the perfect tense using four different negative structures to ask about sporting achievements in the French speaking world.

[on] and [om] are nasal sounds but become non-nasal before a vowel or when part of a double consonant: [onne] or [omme].
ne ... rien, like ne ... pas and ne ... jamais, wraps around the auxiliary verb in perfect tense.
ne ... personne is different to other negatives in the past tense. Personne comes after the past participle.
Sports successful in francophone nations include skiing, football, tennis, swimming, judo and ice dancing.
