Show transcript
The SSCs (sound-symbol correspondences) [au], [eau] and [o] make the same sound. To refer to a plural noun use the indefinite article des (some). It does not change based on the gender of the noun. Adjective agreement is the change of spelling of an adjective based on the gender and number of the noun it describes. We often add an 'e' to make an adjective feminine and an 's' to make it plural. Add an 'es' to make it feminine plural. 'Il y a' means 'there are'. 'Ce sont' means 'these are'. 'Ce sont' is the plural form of 'c'est'.
