Show transcript
A singular verb form is used when only one person is doing or being something. The singular forms of the verb 'avoir' are 'jai' (I have), 'tu as' (you have), 'il a' (he has) and 'elle a' (she has). To change a statement into a yes/no question you raise your voice at the end; this is called intonation. There is no word for 'do' or 'does' in French intonation questions. When learning a new language it is important to practise vocabulary regularly to strengthen your word knowledge.
