Show transcript
Sound-symbol correspondence [ig] is pronounced as in 'richtig'. Practising vocabulary regularly is important to help understanding in listening and reading. Inversion questions are formed by inverting the subject and the verb in a statement, e.g., 'Kommst du aus Deutschland?'. 'Nicht' usually goes before the element it negates; if negating a whole, short sentence, it tends to go at the end.
