If one factor is made ten times the size, the product will be ten times the size. One factor has been multiplied by 10 so the product is multiplied by 10 When multiplying two numbers, if either factor is made 10 times the size, the product will be 10 times the size. 6 multiplied by 30 is equal to 60 multiplied by 3 or 6 tens multiplied by 3
