I can identify that humans get nutrients from different types of food.

Fruits and vegetables provide vitamins and fibre for good health. Carbohydrates give us the energy we need to be active. Proteins help our bones and muscles to grow, be healthy and repair. Dairy, and alternatives, provides calcium for bone health. A small amount of fat, such as oils and spreads, is an essential part of a healthy, balanced diet.
