The sound-spelling correspondences [n] and [ñ] are pronounced differently. 'Hay' means there is or there are depending on whether it's followed by a singular or plural noun. 'Tiene' means it has. Adjectives agree with the number and gender of the noun. In Spanish, to say there isn’t or there aren’t, use 'no' before the verb 'hay'. This makes it a negative. The numbers 1-31 can be used in Spanish with 'hay' or 'tiene' to say how many of something there are or something has.
