I can use the verb 'ser' in the present and imperfect tense to describe healthcare in Spain.

'Es means 'she, he, it is' and 'era' means 'I, she, he, it was'.
The pronouns 'yo', 'él' and 'ella' make the meaning of 'era' clear.
'Es' and 'era' often appear before adjective and an infinitive when describing a situation.
'Eres' means 'you are' and 'eras' means 'you were' or 'you used to be'
