The sound-symbol correspondence [e] can be practised with words such as ‘tener’ and ‘papel’. Spanish pronouns are often not used; the verb ending indicates the person who is carrying out the action of the verb. Spanish question word ‘¿cómo?’ combine with ‘estar’ to ask how someone is.
