I can understand and describe past experiences of migration using -ar, -er and -ir verbs in the preterite tense.

For regular -er and -ir verbs, the verb ending -imos refers to 'we' in the preterite tense. For regular -ar verbs, the verb ending -amos refers to 'we' in the preterite tense. The verb ‘huir’ has a stem change (i → y) in the present tense for 'I', you', 'he', 'she' and 'they'.
