I can use -er and -ir verbs in the preterite tense to describe how people protect the planet.

Preterite-tense -er and -ir verbs have the ending -ió in the 3rd person singular. Preterite-tense -er and -ir verbs have the ending -ieron in the 3rd person plural. The possessive adjective 'nuestro' means 'our' and agrees with the noun in gender and number. 'Nuestro' refers to a singular masculine noun and 'nuestra' refers to a singular feminine noun. 'Nuestros' refers to a plural masculine noun and 'nuestra' refers to a plural feminine noun.
