I can use regular and irregular verbs as well as idiomatic uses of 'dar' to talk about the end of the academic year.

Many of the most commonly-used Spanish verbs are irregular, e.g. 'ser', 'estar', 'tener', 'hacer', 'venir', 'dar', 'ir'.
The verb 'dar' can be used to describe how something makes people feel. English uses 'to be' + adjective for this.
Indirect object pronouns ('me', 'te', 'le') are used with 'dar' + noun to say how something makes you and others feel.
