I can use -ar verbs in 1st and 3rd person singular to talk about activities that I and someone else does.

The sound-symbol correspondences [ll] and [l] can be contrasted and secured in a pronunciation game.
To mean 'I' with a verb, the -ar verb ending changes to -o, e.g. 'hablo', I speak.
To mean 'she, he, it' with a verb, the -ar verb ending changes to -a, e.g. 'habla', she, he, it speaks.
