Some Spanish infinitives end in -er and -ir; we call them -er and -ir verbs.
The verb ending changes depending on who the verb refers to; the second person singular 'you' ending is -es;
When writing from memory, it is important to practise language thoroughly first, especially verbs.
Second person singular verbs are useful for asking questions, when writing to someone else.
