Using 'I', 'me', 'my', 'we' or 'us' is a way of speaking in the first person. One way of inferring a character's feelings is looking at their expressions in an illustration. Another way of inferring a character's feelings is reading about how they move, what they do and what they say. Discussing the feelings of others helps to generate powerful adjectives to describe an emotion or event. Considering an event in the story from a character's point of view helps us to understand the plot of the story better.
