Show transcript
Manipulating present, past and future verbs allows you to tell a story and describe events clearly and accurately. Being able to switch between tenses helps to make your writing and speaking more interesting. When describing a photo, use the acronym PALM. It stands for People, Action, Location, Mood. It is helpful to predict follow-up questions on a theme for developing conversation after describing a photo.
