Move: good jumping mechanics include landing with feet parallel to ensure the jump distance is maximised. Move: performing an effective long jump requires a one foot take-off followed by stretching ‘for the trapeze’. Think: ensuring you perform the 3 phases of the long jump correctly will ensure you perform a legal jump. Feel: being determined to perform at your best will help to achieve personal best results. Connect: helping others by giving them instant performance feedback will enable them to understand how to improve.
