Verbs like 'choisir' ('to choose, choosing') form another type of -IR verb. These include 'réussir' and 'définir'.
To say 'I' with a verb like 'choisir', remove the -IR from the infinitive and add -is, e.g. 'je choisis'.
To say 'she, he', remove the -IR and add -it, e.g. 'il, elle choisit'.
These two verb forms sound the same because the -s and -t are silent final consonants (SFCs).
