Favourite activities: questions with 'welch-', answers with 'gern'

The sounds [a] and [ä] are pronounced differently. In the present tense, the verb ending changes depending on who is doing the action. Some present tense verb stems change their vowel in the 'du, er and sie' forms, e.g., 'treffen' becomes 'du triffst'. 'Welch-' means which and is commonly used in questions.
